Charities
A partner in each of our Teddington and Hampton offices has experience of providing charities with legal advice and services.
Our resident partner at Hampton has acted for many years as Secretary of a number of local charities and has experience of meeting their requirements for both legal and administrative services. He is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
One of our partners at Teddington is a member of the Charity Law Association, and has significant experience of providing legal advice and services required by churches and other (mainly Christian) charities.
The services we can provide include charity formation, advice on alternative structures, constitutional changes, changes of trustees, general charity administration and charity land transactions. We are also aware of the special requirements of charity law where a charity becomes involved in a dispute or litigation, and can ensure that these are properly met.
